Instrumentalist

VIOLIN
Born in 1982, Liubov Ohrimenko began studying the violin at the age seven.  In 1997, She had the privilege to study at the Accademia di Musica in Milan, Italy. She earned her first Bachelor in Violin Performance at the Rachmaninov School of Music in Kishinev, Moldava and studied with Naum Hosh.

In Europe, Ohrimenko has performed with the Teleradio Moldova Symphony Orchestra, the national Philharmonic Orchestra of Kishinev, the Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, as well as the Mihai Eminescu Theatre Chamber Orchestra.

 In 2002, Ohrimenko participated in the XXI Festival Internacional de Orquestas de Jovenes (FIOJ), in Murcia, Spain, as the assistant concertmaster and the 2004 XXIII FIOJ, as the principal second violinist.

Upon moving to Miami, Florida, Ohrimenko attended the University of Florida’s New World School of the Arts(NWSA), where she won the NWSA’s Concerto Competition. Ohrimenko completed her studies with Daniel Andai and Amos Fayette.

Ohrimenko currently enjoys performing with groups, such as the Miami Symphony Orchestra, the Miami Lyric Opera, and the Alhambra Orchestra.
