Felipe Melendrez is a painter living and working in Miami Florida. He was born in 1989, in Jalisco, Mexico where he began to develop a liking for art. When he moved to the states at the age of nine, he found comfort in his art classes where English was not a barrier for him. He would later on attend art-focused schools and would eventually graduate from Florida International University, in 2013, with Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and Minor in Art History.
