I was born in a central city in Cuba on December 21, 1985. The first years of my life were spent under the care of my single mother and grandparents. It was they who first noticed my aptitude for music and the piano at age 3. In 1994, in the midst of the terrible economic crisis known as the "Periodo Especial" (Special Period), my family fled Cuba and arrived in Miami to start a new life. As a teenager in high school, I studied piano and classical harp at New World School of the Arts. Upon graduating from high school in 2004, I earned a BS in Biomedical Engineering at FIU. In 2011, I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome and Chromesthesia. Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to travel and have discovered that exploring the world and transmitting my hyper sensorial experiences is my true calling as a multi-dimensional artist. I have absorbed the sounds, smells, and colors of the different countries I have visited, in order to create a unique blend of vibrant, polychromatic art, which I strive to effectively share with you through my artistic works.
