Caroline Colby was born in Miami, FL in 1989, to parents of Cuban-Colombian descent. In her teen years, she relocated to Lake Placid, FL, where she received an AA in Studio Art from South Florida State College, in 2009. Moving back to Miami in 2010, she obtained a dual Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art and Art History from Florida International University, in 2014. She has exhibited numerous times and has given talks at the SFSC Museum of Florida Art and Culture. She also participated in a group show at SwampSpace in Miami, FL. Caroline was recently accepted into a year-long artist residency with Transform, in Kansas City, MO. She will start her residency in October 2015.
